• About Our President
    Stephanie R. Dawkins is the former Global Senior Vice President for AB Volvo, (People Performance and Workplace Environment). She is the first and only African American to hold this position in the 80-plus year history of this Scandinavian company. From her offices in Goteborg, Sweden, and Greensboro, North Carolina she led an international team in 19 different countries and 180 markets, and oversaw more than 110,000 employees worldwide. Stephanie is known as one of the top labor negotiators around the world.

    Prior to her position with Volvo, Stephanie worked in other Fortune 500 companies in both operational and strategic positioning capacities. She is a certified motivational speaker on an international level. Her specialities include global expertise in negotiations, strategies, mergers & acquisitions, human resources, industrial relations and organizational effectiveness.

    Ms. Dawkins was recognized in 2010 by the United States House of Representatives and inducted into the Congressional Record for her outstanding work in global business, community service and her affiliations with international women’s organizations. She holds a seat on the board for the Euro-American Woman’s Council, whose mission is to strengthen the status of women around the world. She is also a former Board of Trustee member for the Business and Professional Women’s Foundation. Stephanie is a member of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, National Association of African-Americans in Human Resources Management, and is a recipient of the North American Leadership Award and a honorary doctorate for her global initiatives from the World Igbo Congress of Nigeria. She has appeared and featured in various media outlets and a contributor to an array of published business publications. She continues to receive accommodations, awards and recognition from various groups.

    Stephanie is married to husband Keith and has two beautiful children Amber and Justin. The family resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
